Guilt

OK, so Jon just posted this episode of This American Life about how far Republicans will go to suppress the democratic vote.

This makes me feel like crap for not going someplace for election day to get out the democratic vote, like Emily told me to.

Why the hell is the election held on a Tuesday? I'm a teacher, and I can't skip school for a few days to go to Florida. At least Kerry won our school mock election- 67 to 50 to 2 for Nader. I guess all I can do is vote-- and hope that bad karma starts working in less than 4 years.
