Reading
I read most of "Prodigal Summer" by Barbara Kingsolver these past two days... school's been closed due to a major water main crisis necesitating digging up the entire courtyard. I've also been playing a lot of Spider Solitaire. Word to the wise: reading contains a lot more pleasure per minute than solitaire. I can look up from my book after reading through a fight, a change of seasons, the introduction of a new character, and a crisis averted, and only five minutes have passed. Looking up from a game of solitaire is much more likely to have killed half an hour.
