Arizona has admitted people with no MA before, but those people were much older and had more teaching experience. But the EL/L program is almost all applicable to the PhD, and they will fund me (with a TAship) through both the masters and the PhD. Though I'm not technically "in," the administrative assistant said they really want me, so it's nice to know I have someplace to go.
