Acceptance! and rejection, and visiting, oh my!

I have now been officially accepted to the University of Oregon MA in Linguistics with Language Teaching Specialization! Check it out here if you're curious. It's a 15 month program starting and ending in the summer. I'm visiting them next week and meeting some people.

UPenn rejected me. No surprise there, what with them accepting only 3 people this year.

So as for the visiting, in Portland I'm visiting Chris[toph]er Cyll from Williams and my friend Juan from Spain, and meeting Juan's boyfriend! And then after that I'm visiting U Arizona with Peter. He's looking at the MBA and law programs, and I'm meeting practically everyone in ELL and SLAT. They seem really cool! Or at least they send good emails, and read my blog. :-)
