Amaizing!

If you have never been to a corn maze, you're missing out. We love our local corn maze so much that, distraught at the news that it doesn't open until August 12th, we called them and begged for a chance to go through early. Right now they're only opening for groups of 50 or more, but they're letting us go with someone else's group because we're such faithful maze aficionados.

But not all maize mazes are created equal. A lot of them are just walking around in a cornfield- some even GIVE you a map of the entire maze! At the really good ones, the map is cut into 12 sections and hidden in mailboxes around the maze. When you find them, you tape them together to see the full map. I think it's taken us up to three hours to win. Fortunately, the Amazing Maize Maze franchise has eight mazes on the east coast and one near Chicago (obviously a sign that it's ok for me to move to the midwest.) The local one is a ship:
