the long and nonwinding road

I had my first (and possibly last) visitor in Champaign-Urbana- Chris Warshaw just happened to be passing through on his way from Pennsylvania to California! We went to an international party in this weird apartment building that looked computer-generated. It had an overall Swiss ski lodge look, a pool, a fish pond, a giant chess set, and a fake pine tree forest that you can't go in. Creepy! Chris was a good visitor, especially since he only stayed for 12 hours. I give him my stamp of approval if anyone else wants to host him on his road trip.
