There was a Fray concert scheduled for Monday night. I bought a ticket despite my Historical Ling paper being due on Tuesday. Then, the paper was moved till Thursday (woo-hoo!) because some professor emeritus died (polite muting of the preceding 'woo-hoo.') But then- the Fray concert was cancelled (boo!) due to a family emergency (potential connection to the aforementioned professor emeritus?) leaving me no choice but to study on Monday night (increase in intensity of the preceding 'boo!')
