surrounded

To the west and south: bass-thumping undergrads. To the northeast: a buzz saw which intermittently cuts siding starting at 8:30 a.m. To the north: the house with three barking dogs. And to the southeast, at this very moment: a lawncare man who just shouted, "¡Cállate! ¡Cállate, hombre!" eight times at the barking dogs. I counted. It did not achieve the desired result.
