sleepypersonproof

One of the hazards of having this kind of coffeemaker is that when you really need coffee the most, it can be entirely too complicated to operate. Common hazards include:
•forgetting to put in the water
consequence: burning coffee beans; no coffee
•forgetting to put in the coffee
consequence: creating pot of hot water rather than coffee
•turning on the wrong stove burner
consequence: waiting forever; lack of coffee
•melting the handle
consequence: plastic on stove burner, lack of handle, potential plastic burns, but at least you do get the coffee with this one.

You left out forgetting about the coffee entirely and leaving it on the burner. Consequence? Burning down the building.
