road trip shortened

Sorry to any eastern NY blog readers expecting to see me over the vacation- the plans were changed several weeks ago and Alfred, NY will now be the easternmost point of the journey. But I forgot to update the blog. So no NYC area stuff.

Also, the garbage truck slid into my car and took out a headlight yesterday, so hopefully I'll get it fixed tomorrow in time to pass the NY inspection for the first time in three years. We're leaving on Saturday. That is all.
